Our Commitment to Respect

At Eastern High, we are committed to ensuring our school is a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all pupils, staff, and families. Cardiff Council has launched the Respect Campaign, which reminds us all the importance of treating each other with dignity and respect, and of keeping schools free from abuse, aggression, or violence.

The campaign highlights the vital role schools play in supporting children, young people, and their communities. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and free from fear. Equally, staff have the right to carry out their roles without facing abuse, so they can focus on teaching and supporting pupils effectively.
